Ski Mask The Slump God has had a crazy 2017, and of all the rising rappers who emerged this year, Ski Mask may be best positioned for a long-term career. He's working with legends like Timbaland and Busta Rhymes, perfecting his live show, and it looks like he's been keeping busy in the studio and completely focused on music right now.
In September, Ski Mask announced on Twitter that he has a surprise mixtape coming and that it's "produced by a loved producer." Since then, Ski has shared footage of himself and Timbaland in the studio, but there hasn't been an official announcement on whether or not Timbaland was the producer he was referring to, or when that surprise mixtape is coming out.
We may find out soon, though. On Sunday, December 10, Ski Mask shared a post on Instagram announcing a new project: "My Tape Will Drop In A Couple Days Wait On It."
