Every year, there are a few songs that stay in rotation but don't get shared on Pigeons & Planes for one reason or another. Since it's a slow news day, here's one of those songs. Saski's "Faking Bright" is about a year old and I don't know much about it, but I randomly heard it one night on SoundCloud, and it's become a late-night staple. It's minimal, slow-moving, and slightly disconnected for a head-in-the-clouds kind of experience. If you find yourself awake at three in the morning, throw this on a playlist with Lapsley's "Station" and Lykke Li's "Tonight" and enjoy.
Saski is from New Zealand, and you can hear more of her music here.
