Quality Control released their compilation album Control The Streets Vol. 1 earlier this month featuring the entire QC roster as well as affiliates such as Cardi B, Gucci Mane, and more. The Atlanta conglomerate delivered a variety of hits and debuted in the top 10 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart with over 48,000 units sold. While QC stars Migos and Lil Yacthy take up most of the tracklist and shine throughout the album, there were plenty of other solid records on the 30-track project. Rising QC artist Kollision was one of the pleasant surprises on the album. "Space Cadet" is catchy, fun, and displays great potential in the Atlanta newcomer.
Quality Control just released a new video for the Quay Global-produced track to follow up their controversial "Ice Tray" video and although there's no trolling going on in this one, Kollision still provides a fun visual to accompany the addictive single. QC has been on a roll in 2017 and with Quavo closing the year with Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho and the Migos set to release Culture 2 in the early portion of 2018, not to mention Kanye West is executive producing it, it looks like the label will be taking things to an even higher level in the new year.
