Nilüfer Yanya is one of our favorite newcomers and one of the best new artists of 2017, and "Baby Luv" is a highlight from her promising career so far. The song showcases Nilüfer's impressive writing skills and penchant for writing that is at once accessible and challenging, and the "Baby Luv" music video was a moment. Effortlessly stylish and totally captivating without relying on any in-your-face action, the video keeps Nilüfer front and center.
While the London-based artist was in New York for her first-ever NYC show, we invited her to stop by the office for an in-studio performance of the song, and you can now watch that above. Inspired by her music video, we set her up with some pink balloons and props that reference the original video, and even though she had a cold, she delivered an excellent stripped back rendition of the track.
