Staten Island rapper Lou The Human lost his marbles, but it's the best thing that's ever happened to him.
Back in April Lou talked to us about his then forthcoming project Humaniac. He told us, "it's a conceptual project of me kind of going crazy. I think a lot of crazy people are geniuses, so I guess I was trying to find that thin line between genius and crazy."
Humaniac has now been out over a month, and it's propelling Lou's career forward. He's gaining cosigns from fitting artists like Danny Brown and Joe Budden, and unlikely ones like John Mayer.
We caught up with Lou this week, and talked about his cosigns, his aesthetic, the worst thing he's ever seen on the internet, and how he recorded Humaniac in his mom's dining room.
