Earlier this year, Bladee and the rest of Drain Gang dropped their formidable D&G compilation, featuring some of their best work yet. The Swedish group, comprising of Bladee, Thaiboy Digital, Ecco2k, and Whitearmor, might sound familiar to fans of Yung Lean. They're all frequent collaborators and friends of Leandoer, Bladee and producer Whitearmor in particular.

It's been something of a celebratory year for the group, too, previously having set out on tour in October for their first ever shows together following Thaiboy's unjust deportation from Sweden in 2015. With standout solo tracks, a pair of Yung Lean features, and tracks that see the members collaborating in wildly successful ways, D&G is one of the year's most overlooked albums.

Bladee is thankfully reminding us just how good it is with his latest video, however. The "Dumpster Baby" video provides a surreal and dreamlike atmosphere that perfectly suits Bladee's otherworldly vocals. Somewhere between alien and painfully human, his voice is hypnotic. The video, which is directed by Daniel Swan, takes place in almost pitch-black while a thunderstorm takes place. While sing-rapping in the scary weather on a cliffside, Bladee glows like a visitor from another realm. It's particular, but it matches that very deliberate sound of Bladee's so well.
