The Cool Kids are back. Taking a six year hiatus following 2011's When Fish Ride Bicycles, Sir Michael Rocks and Chuck Inglish are readying the release of their comeback record, Special Edition Grand Master Deluxe, coming September 15.
Making up for lost time, they're also making a YouTube comedy series called "SHIT SHOW," and the first episode dropped today.
Featuring a long list of cameos including Tyler, The Creator, Chance The Rapper, ASAP Rocky, Hannibal Buress, and Twista, the Jimmy Regular-created show is about as weird as you would hope from these guys.
The 11-minute first episode opens with a fitting warning that explains: "This issue contains a lot of cameos (with no waivers in sight), some public indecency, and archive footage with way too much editing. We don't apologize."
Splicing Loiter Squad-style sketches with random footage they've collected over the years (including an amazing Dipset-style freestyle from Tyler at the episode's midway point), the show feels like public access TV at its finest.
