Arcade Fire just announced that their fifth studio album, Everything Now, is coming out on July 28 via Columbia and shared the title track along with a video directed by The Sacred Egg.

As the title suggests, the song is a commentary on the on-demand, fast-paced reality of life in 2017, featuring lyrics like, "Every inch of space in your head is filled up with the things that you read, I guess you've got everything now."

"There’s sort of an everything-nowness to life," lead vocalist Win Butler tells BBC Radio 1. "I feel like almost every event and everything that happens surrounds you on all sides. It’s trying to capture some of the experiences of being alive now in all its flaws and all its glory."

Watch Butler and company navigate a surreal countryside setting in the video above and hear the song on Spotify below.
