On his last official single, "Style and Flows," veteran grime MC Double S linked up with JME, and today he's back with another legend in the scene, Wiley, the godfather of grime himself. On "Get Paid," the two rappers make it clear that no one is going to take advantage of them when it comes to finances, going in over Vee's see-sawing production.
"The concept came from the fact that I've been through many ups and downs in my life, let alone music, but recently I realised my career is in the MUSIC BUSINESS," Double S explains. "It's a 9-5 (plus over time) just like any other job but mine is just on display. As much as I'm having fun doing what I'm doing, I believe what I bring to the table is a great contribution so it's only right I GET PAID for it."
Of course, a new verse from the legend Wiley is always welcome, but Double S definitely goes in here too. Listen below.
