A week ago, Compton rapper Buddy shared his latest, Kaytranada-produced single "Find Me." This track felt like solid proof that the two should work together more often. Thankfully, they followed up the release of their single with the announcement of a joint EP titled Ocean & Montana.
For the new EP, Buddy teams up with Kaytranada for five tracks that all feel perfect to soundtrack a long cruise on a sunny day. It seems that regardless of the tempo, Kaytranada can't help but make rhythms listeners can dance along to—"World of Wonders" is an obvious choice to groove to but the slower "A Lite" still has a steady bounce as well. Buddy proves his ability to fit over any rhythm while still making things sound effortless and fun.
