Over the past weekend, Texas-bred group Brockhampton returned with a new song and video. "Face" follows January's "Cannon," featuring a similar vibe and simple approach. The Kiko-handeled production is minimal but hypnotic, providing plenty of space for each of the vocalists. Joba, who handles the hook of the song, shines in particular atop the serene instrumental, which twinkles and stutters. Dom McLennon, Ameer Vann, and Matt Champion all make brilliant contributions to the song, too.

Directed by Kevin Abstract and shot by Ashlan Grey, the video for the song is just as stark. Featuring the members fucking about and generally making a mess, there's a juxtaposition between the shots of them all lying down and trashing the front of their house. It features the track wonderfully, showing that these guys are just as good at executing complicated ideas as they are simple ones.

Watch the video for the song above, and look out for the group's second mixtape when it drops next month (June).
