Months ago, a new collaboration between Wizkid and Drake was premiered during an episode of OVO Sound Radio on Beats 1. Thankfully, Wizkid finally shared the officially version of his newest single "Come Closer" late last month—just in time for it to heat up right before summer.

Wizkid returns today to share the visuals for his latest release. "Come Closer," like the title alludes, is the perfect soundtrack for pulling someone closer on the dance floor. While Wizkid may be known for being the biggest artist representing Nigeria and afrobeat, he has proven within the last year or so that his sound is flexible and global. The production for "Come Closer" blends rhythmic influences from Africa and the Caribbean with a R&B twist that makes it eligible to be another big crossover hit.

For the video, Wizkid keeps things simple and lets the song do the work for him. In front of color-changing backdrop, Wizkid is accompanied by several lovely dancers who help bring another dose of energy to the single. Drake doesn't make an appearance in the video, but Wizkid continues to be captivating enough for that detail not to matter.
