New York-based Hana Elion and JJ Mitchell make up Overcoats, and their debut full length album is on the way. YOUNG comes out on April 21 via Arts & Crafts, and the two artists worked with Autre Ne Veut and Nicolas Vernhes, who produced the record.

With electronic production as their backdrop, Overcoats shine with their vocal harmonies and timeless songwriting, creating an intriguing blend of modern and classic styles. Previous single "Leave The Light On" was premiered by Zane Lowe, and today we're sharing the gorgeous "Kai's Song."

"It's a song about transformation and change," Overcoats explain. "It has to do with that moment where you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror and you no longer recognize the person you've become. It's about being away from home or loved ones for so long that you don't know if they'll like or accept the person who is returning to them. The name is inspired by a friend of ours, who is one of the strongest people we know."

Listen to "Kai's Song" and "Leave The Light On" below, and look out for YOUNG, out later this month.
