Kamasi Washington, who has been busy collaborating with everyone from Kendrick Lamar to Flying Lotus, has returned today with his first piece of new music since his 2015 debut solo album. Accompanied by a stunning video directed by A.G. Rojas, the lengthy new track showcases his stellar musicianship. It might seem like quite the long video considering it matches the 13-minute running time of the track itself, but Rojas continually keeps things interesting, as does Kamasi.

The track is something of an odyssey, and as such, the video is too. Toying with different aspect ratios, bright colors and no colors at all, "Truth" is heigtened by its visuals. The video and the song are perfect for each other, remaining compelling from beginning to end. The track is taken from a six-movement suite titled Harmony Of Difference which will be release this summer via Young Turks.
