LA-Based Trio Code Green Release Cartoon-Inspired Video For "Too Silly"

Off of their EP '7 Day Trip.'

In the age of the internet, artists can pop up from any corner of the world. Today, we've found Code Green, a rap trio from Rhode Island who took a trip to Los Angeles that inspired their latest EP 7 Day Trip. The group has close ties with No Ceilings alum Khary and plans to shake things up this year with big releases. Their latest effort is the video for "Too Silly (Remix)".

The song features King Mez, a rapper signed to Aftermath and known for his work on Dr. Dre's Compton album. Speaking on how the collab came about, Code Green told us, "The original record it was very special and we wanted to give it a new life. Mez has always loved the song and has always been a big supporter of us. So Mez was able take the original concept and share his side of the story. And Evo wasn't on the original record, so he was able to bring his vibes to the remix also. Overall it was great refresh for the song and just a fun experience in general."

The visual is crazy as you watch the artists walk in and out of an animated world, all while spitting fire verses. Check out the video at the top of the page and listen to 7 Day Trip below.
