Last month, Avelino returned with his latest single "Energy" featuring Stormzy and Skepta—along with a new video to match. While making his rounds to promote his new single, Avelino stopped by the BBC 1Xtra Live Lounge to deliver a special live performance.

Fans of the Live Lounge are well aware that guests are usually asked to do a cover of a song that isn't their own. During Avelino's visit, the UK lyricist selected a fun choice and decided to put his own spin on Chance The Rapper's single "All Night." The in-studio band helped bring the track to life by recreating Kaytranada's production while Avelino.

Rather than rapping Chance's lyrics verbatim, Avelino adding his own verses that matched the fun energy of the original single. As if this cover isn't intriguing enough, the band slowed down the tempo to allow Avelino space to complete his performance with a short cover of Calvin Harris, Frank Ocean, and Migos' collaboration "Slide."
