Burlington, Vermont raised artist Vader defines himself as an artist in multiple ways. When he's not spending months in Mexico perfecting his painting skills, he returns to New York City to work on his music. Today he shares the new video for his single "Rotation," taken from his forthcoming project VILLINOVA.

For the visuals, the lead character of the video can be seen going through the same routines over and over again as he breezes through a typical New York City summer. Vader's lyrics touch on not wanting to be stuck, and yearning for something new. Towards the end of the video, the lead character can finally be seen breaking free from his usual repetitive lifestyle and behavior as he walks towards something new.

Vader told us to us via e-mail how his latest single came together after a long journey of ups and downs. "Over the past six years I've lost two albums and more songs then I'd like to think about due to multiple computer crashes and a massive backup failure," he explains. "For a long time it's felt like the man upstairs has been laughing at me. VILLINOVA is my first official offering to the world and I can't quite tell you how it feels to finally be putting this out. I recorded 'Rotation' two years on the built-in microphone on my laptop."
