It's been two years since Thundercat released his last album The Beyond / Where the Giants Roam. During those two years, the musician has been working alongside artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Flying Lotus, Terrace Martin, and more on their own various projects. Thankfully, last month finally announced that he was officially ready to release a new album of his own.

Today, Thundercat releases his third studio album, simply titled Drunk. Ahead of its release we heard "Show You The Way" featuring Kenny Loggins and Michael McDonald, "Friend Zone," as well as an early preview of "Walk On By" with Kendrick Lamar. All of these singles served as a great preview of what we could expect. Drunk includes 23 tracks displaying Thundercat's musicianship and sense of humor in one well-crafted package. The album also features guest appearances from Flying Lotus, Pharrell, Wiz Khalifa, and more.
