Little Simz had quite the admirable roll out for her latest album Stillness in Wonderland. Aside from releasing the strong singles we expected, Simz also created a limited edition comic book written by Eddie "Versetti" Smith and illustrated by Mckay Felt. Before heading out on her North American tour later this month, Little Simz stopped by NPR for their Tiny Desk Concert series to performance special renditions of a few tracks taken from her album.
For the more intimate setting, Little Simz showed off her impressive guitar skills alongside her sharp wordplay. To complete the performance, she was joined by three members of Brooklyn-based band Phony Ppl. Simz delivered smooth performances of "Poison Ivy" and "No More Wonderland." To close out the intimate show, Little Simz and Phony Ppl added a quick samba flare to "Picture Perfect"—giving us even more reasons to want to see her live.
