Khalid is a star. Last year, at age 18, the El Paso, Texas native released "Location," a soulful pop song with a modern edge that is still climbing the Billboard charts. Since then, Khalid has announced his debut album, American Teen, headed out on the Location tour, and won the hearts of fansand fellow artists.
American Teen is scheduled for release March 3, so before his life changes forever we sat down with Khalid to get to know the young man behind the music. With an outlook that seems wise beyond his years, Khalid talks turning negativity into positive energy, following his dreams, and Kehlani's one very important tour survival tip.
