Time and time again, Kaytranada has displayed his unique ability to remix songs with his own singular style while also leaving the defining elements of the original track intact. He most recently showcased this talent with his remix of Afrika Bambaataa’s “Planet Rock,” and previously flexed his skills by sharing infectious flips of Chance The Rapper's "All Night" and Solange's "Cranes In The Sky." The Montreal producer proves himself once again by sharing his futuristic takes on two classic R&B tracks, TLC's "Diggin On You" and Latrelle's "House Party."

Kaytranada's dance floor ready remixes first appeared as part of his 0.001% mixtape, which is formatted as a continuous ninety-minute mix of new material, reworks, and remixes without any individual tracks. Since the tape's September release, Kaytranada has slowly been sharing highlights from the mix as individual tracks on Soundcloud.

The bouncy Latrelle remix features drumbreaks from Kaytranada's frequent collaborator Badbadnotgood. "if you don't know the original song, you're sleepinggggggg," he writes in the track description of the rework. The equally danceable TLC remix features Kaytranda's signature funk-inflected bass and syncopated percussion.
