Tensions have been rising between Soulja Boy and Shia LaBeouf since the actor mentioned the rapper in a couple of recent freestyles.
Speaking over Instagram, the Atlanta rapper said, “Only way that I give Shia LaBeouf a pass, he got to put me in the next Transformers movie. Put me in the movie,” also adding, “Put me in something. Put me in a TV show, and you can come to Atlanta, and I’d do a song with you and we squash the beef.” LaBeouf also took shots at Soulja Boy in his freestyle on 'Sway in the Morning.'
In his latest freestyle, the Transformers actor also mentioned Drake, Lil Yachty and Hot 97 presenter Peter Rosenberg. Whilst Rosenberg has replied with bars of his own, Soulja Boy is yet to reply in the form of any music. However, the did say he is considering releasing a record aimed at the actor.
The "Crank That" artist said “He keep making songs. He keep dissing me, he keep dissing me. You know what? I’m going to go to the studio, and I’m going to drop my diss song.” When the actor was asked about the Atlanta rapper's comments he said, What about him? I think he's awesome," and then adding, "He's a sweetheart, bro. He don't mean it."
