Skillz 2016 Rap Up

To say 2016 has been a strange and exhausting year that felt longer than usual would be quite the understatement. Thankfully, the new year is finally within reach. However, before we ring in 2017, Virginia rapper Skillz returns once again with his annual rap to sum up the year.

Covering 12 months in just over five minutes, Skillz touches on topics ranging from Desiigner's unclear lyrics on one of 2016's biggest radio hits to claiming Anderson .Paak had the album of the year with Malibu to politics. Although it's been a rough year, Skillz managed to squeeze in a few witty remarks while reviewing everything that occurred in the last few months with punch lines like: "Get an iPhone with no headphone cord, or get a Galaxy and go and meet the lord."
