Brockhampton's Matt Champion Returns With "Mansions"

Matt Champion's forthcoming debut album is shaping up to be pretty great.

Throughout the year, Brockhampton'sMatt Champion has been releasing a number of promising singles. "Salud" and "Punks" both offered a taste of his forthcoming debut album, promising exciting things from the next album to come out of the Brockhampton camp. His standout appearances on Brockhampton's All-American Trash mixtape only further served to whet appetites, and today he's released one last taste of what's to come.

"Mansions" is a little sleepier in its verses than "Salud" and "Punks," but it's a type that's inviting rather than tired. Matt delivers a sticky hook on "Mansions," expanding upon it later on in the track with some gorgeous production flourishes. Produced by Romil, Albert Gordon, and Joba, "Mansions" is but further proof of Brockhampton's prowess. If 2017 is as fantastic for Brockhampton as 2016 was, then we're incredibly excited for what's to come.

Listen to "Mansions" below and look out for Matt Champion's debut album sometime next year.
