Connecticut rapper Lonny X has continued to step things up from release to release, employing a number of incredibly talented producers along the way. His most recent drops have seen him polishing off his sound gradually, and he hits a high point on his latest Tibe-produced single, "Drama." Intended as a teaser before the full album drops next year, "Drama" features a strong display of Lonny's undeniable energy put to good use.
Over email, Lonny said, "Been working hard on painting the perfect picture to my audience through words and heaviness." He added, "I hope people hear it and feel a way. Whether they get hyped and wanna fight someone or if they just sit and get spaced out. I just hope to create an experience more than a song." There's definitely a sort of infectious energy to the track, which leans towards violence without being defined by it. As far as no fucks given music goes, a lot of care has seemingly gone into "Drama." The bouncy and tense production works remarkably well with Lonny's ever-improving flow.
