The latest freestyle to be setting the internet alight is from Pro Era's own Joey Bada$$ and CJ Fly, who both appeared on Statik Selektah's Shade 45 radio show.

The two Brooklyn MCs went back-to-back for eight minutes straight, reminding us how Pro Era can't be messed with lyrically. Not starting lightly, the two began freestyling over Just Blaze's monster instrumental for Jay Electronica's "Exhibit C" before moving on to Drake's "Fear" beat as well as Talib Kweli and Styles P's "The Thrill Is Gone."

Joey is currently preparing his second studio album A.A.B.A, which he said on Instagram in October was "90% complete." Although he has been quiet on the new project aside from a couple of singles, "Devastated" and "Front & Center," he did tell radio host Joey Franchize that, “This new project is very powerful. That’s the best thing I can say about it. It’s very strong music. It’s like hella vegetables. It’s hella good for you."

CJ Fly released his latest project  FLYTRAP on December 9, with the album available to stream below.
