A year after his first performance on Saturday Night Live, Chance returned to the show as the final musical guest of the year.

The Chicago rapper performed "Finish Line/Drown," which can be seen above, as well as "Same Drugs," two of the standout tracks from Chance's 2016 project Coloring Book. The album was critically acclaimed when it was released back in May, and was also the first album to chart on the Billboard 200 based solely on streams. Chance was also joined on stage by Noname, who performed her spoken word verse alongside the rousing choir who delivered the chorus.

Chance also performed alongside SNL cast member Kenan Thompson in a parody of Run-DMC's "Christmas in Hollis," celebrating the last Christmas under Barack Obama. DMC also made a cameo as Chance's father, who tells his 'son' to "never trust a white dude wearing a red hat," referencing Trump's Make America Great Again caps.
