Young Thug announced via SnapChat yesterday (November 16), that he has officially launched his own record label. YSL Records will be under the banner of his current home, 300 Entertainment, but it seems that the venture will give Thugger more control over what he puts out and when. It also means that he'll be able to sign artists to the YSL imprint, especially now that he's got his own office in the 300 Entertainment office space.

Giving his SnapChat followers a preview of his new office and the YSL logo, 300's co-founder Kevin Liles congratulated Thug on his new venture. "The most important thing I could say to all of you guys, is not whether it was 300 or YSL—look at the guy who committed to us every single day," Liles said via SnapChat. "Always standing 300 with us. Him starting a new venture is going to take us to a different mindset. He's not just an artist in this particular case."

Thugger has previously said that he wanted to create the imprint to showcase the talents of his friends, so it remains to be seen who will join the roster. It's highly likely that Duke will be included, but Thug has yet to fully detail YSL.
