At the 2016 American Music Awards, The Weeknd brought his charisma to the stage, delivering an electrifying performance of "Starboy," the Daft Punk-assisted lead single from his upcoming album of the same name. His soaring vocals and great stage presence made the performance one of the night's highlights.

Surrounded by a glass wall resembling an ice cave, The Weeknd sang through his hit single while red and blue lights flashed across the stage. Towards the end of the song, he strutted to the front of the stage to close out the performance. The crowd went wild for the Canadian singer as he left the stage.

His upcoming album Starboy is set to be released on November 25 through XO/Republic Records. Ahead of the album's release, he has released four singles including "Party Monster," the polarizing "False Alarm," and two Daft Punk collaborations, "Starboy" and "I Feel It Coming." He recently shared the album's stacked tracklist, confirming guest appearances from Kendrick Lamar,Future, and Lana Del Rey. He will embark on a world tour in April to promote the album.

Watch the full performance above, and keep an eye out for Starboy, due November 25.
