The Weeknd has been working steadily towards the release of his upcoming album Starboy, slowly giving listeners a glimpse into the world he's created for the album with each new single. Now, after performing the titular song at the AMAs yesterday evening, Abel Tesfaye has announced a new film titled Mania

Taking to Twitter for the announcement, sharing a dark, decadent trailer, Tesfaye revealed that frequent collaborator Grant Singer directed the project. Singer and Tesfaye previously worked together on the visuals for "Starboy," and as the trailer indicates, the film will be set within the same realm as featured in the "Starboy" video.

Starboy, which will feature Kendrick Lamar, Future, Lana Del Rey, and more, is set to be released at the end of this week on November 25. Last week, he shared two more singles—"Party Monster" and "I Feel It Coming"—from the upcoming album. In addition to his 2017 world tour, The Weeknd also announced Starboy pop-up shops for early November.

Take a look at the trailer for The Weeknd's upcoming film below and be on the lookout for more updates on Mania.
