With Kanye West's rough patch, a number of musicians have shared their love in this troubling time. Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest in particular is sympathetic, but he's not letting that get in the way of him having a "real serious conversation" with Kanye when he's better. Before canceling his Saint Pablo tour, Kanye West said during one of his shows, "If I would have voted, I would have voted on Trump." Kanye has since been hospitalized for exhaustion.

Appearing on Bloomberg's politics show With All Due Respect, Q-Tip when asked about Kanye's situation and comments said, "It's difficult, you know, because I love him, that's my brother. I reached out to him and I'm hoping that we just get to talk. I'll probably just leave it there, because I really care about that dude. But his remarks are something that require he and I having a real serious discussion."

As Noisey points out, Q-Tip has previously spoken out against Kanye, criticizing his use of the confederate flag on Yeezus merchandise back in 2013. Watch the clip from Bloomberg's show above.
