Last month it was announced that Prince fans may soon have the opportunity to hear previously unreleased music on a new greatest hits album titled Prince 4ever. The album, which was released today, features 40 tracks from Prince. The majority of the featured tracks are some fan favorites, while one track titled "Moonbeam Levels" may be new to most ears.

Earlier today during a special news segment, ABC News had the honor to premiering "Moonbeam Levels" (starting at the :45 mark) on television in a studio of Prince fans hearing the newly released track for the very first time. The previously unreleased single was reportedly recorded in 1982 while Prince was in the process of making his fifth studio album, 1999.

Diehard Prince fans may have heard bootlegs of "Moonbeam Levels" before, but now the single is officially available to be enjoyed in full and in high-quality, along with 39 other Prince tracks on Prince 4ever.
