Throughout the year we've heard producer Malay's name mostly circulating in conversations about Frank Ocean and Zayn Malik. Now that both of their albums have been released, the two-time Grammy Award winning producer has more time to focus on his own endeavors. According to Billboard, Malay will be creating his own label imprint alongside his manager Randy Cohen. This new business move will be part of a multi-year extension deal with BMG Music Publishing.

As of now, a name for the new imprint has not officially be announced but Malay—aka James Ryan Ho—admits that the label idea came into fruition after a conversation with BMG president Zach Katz. While he plans to continue producing and writing, this new imprint will serve as another outlet for his creativity.

Malay is currently working on a collaboration album that he plans to release on his new imprint. There aren't many details about who we can expect to make guest appearances on the new album, but Malay did take to his Instagram to share a post that may give a big hint. His latest post features the caption: "M A L A Y | B O O T Y C L U B FT. F R A N K O C E A N."

Though Malay has been referencing "Booty Club" since the summer, it's still pretty uncertain what it really is. As we know, Malay is very good at holding in secrets and details, so new information about his collaborative album won't be surfacing until he decides he's ready to share.
