Earlier this year, Maggie Rogers made a huge splash with her debut single, "Alaska." After impressing Pharrell, the song amassed an insane amount of listens across numerous streaming services, launching Maggie into the spotlight remarkably fast. Now she's returned with his second single, "Dog Years." As wonderfully produced as "Alaska," the song takes somewhat of a different approach, scaling back just a bit.

On her Twitter, Maggie said "Dog Years is about trusting the universe, about being a good friend and never having enough time." It's a lot of things to cover in just one song, but as expected, Maggie delivers with the end result. Following the release of the video for "Alaska" last month, which has already gotten over a million plays on YouTube, it seems Maggie is gearing up for something bigger in the near future.
