When Drake released "Two Birds One Stone" and took shots at everyone from Pusha T to Kid Cudi, the internet went crazy. Many fans were specifically upset about the lines aimed at Cudi, who had just recently checked into a rehab facility for depression and suicidal thoughts.

Things got even messier when it was revealed that Kanye West was credited as a lyricist and composer of the diss record. Kanye had a quick feud with Cudi himself before dissolving the issue and dedicating "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1" to him at a recent Saint Pablo tour stop.

Seeing Kanye's name associated with a diss track aimed at Cudi shortly after was puzzling to fans but Noah "40" Shebib" has made things a little more clear in his recent statement to Genius. 40 told Rob Markman, "I made it from some drums he had given me. Not quite the elaborate story the world is looking for."

Regardless of who penned the lines, Kid Cudi didn't seem happy to hear them and 40 didn't give any more clarity on who else Drake took shots at in the song so this may not be the last we hear on the "Two Birds One Stone" situation.
