Erykah Badu is a big fan of D.R.A.M.

Recently, Badu sat down for an interview with RapRadar to discuss her recent work, and when the topic of D.R.A.M. came up, she only had very positive things to say about the Virginia native.

"If George Clinton, Ol’ Dirty Bastard and D’Angelo had a baby, that’s D.R.A.M." Badu explained. "He has a really particular way of delivering a song. His voice and his style—it's old and it's new. I'm impressed."

When asked about how her feature on "Wi-Fi," which appears on D.R.A.M.'s debut album Big Baby D.R.A.M., came about, she said that while she couldn't remember who was the first to reach out, the two are "mutual fans." Badu then revealed that "Wi-Fi" was originally meant for a collaborative EP that she and D.R.A.M. have been working on.

On their first collaboration, Erykah Badu said that she was intimidated by D.R.A.M., explaining that D.R.A.M. "has something very special," complimenting his approach to both music and life.

While Badu didn't share any additional details regarding her and D.R.A.M.'s upcoming joint EP, it's probably safe to say that it will be well worth the wait considering how "Wi-Fi" turned out.
