Aesop Rock's visuals have always avoided the obvious. Even with the release of his latest album The Impossible Kid, he remade The Shining with tiny puppets as a visual accompaniment to the album stream.
His latest video for The Impossible Kid highlight "Lotta Years," of course, is no different. The lyrics to Aesop Rock's song are brought to life as he guides the audience through Portland, hitting an ice cream store and the local juice spot to help them visualize how out of touch he sometimes feels with the current generation.
Aesop Rock will be hitting the road for Hey Kirby tour with Rob Sonic, DJ Zone, and Homeboy Sandman beginning on November 25 in Eugene, Oregon. The tour will take them all the way to the end of January as the wrap up in Toronto, Ontario.
