In 1996, legendary rap group A Tribe Called Quest held the number one spot on the Billboard 200 with Beats, Rhymes and Life. Now, 20 years later, the group holds the number one spot again with We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service, according to Billboard. With this accomplishment, the group has shattered the record for longest gap between number one albums released by a hip-hop act. The record was previously held by Jeezy, who had an eight year gap between the release of The Recession in 2008 and Trap or Die 3, released earlier this month.

We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service was projected to debut at number one with 120,000 album equivalent units sold, and exceeded expectations by moving 135,000 units instead. The massive success of their last album serves as a triumphant finale to a long, influential career. The group may also embark on a final world tour.

The exciting news comes one day after a street in Queens, New York was named after the late Phife Dawg, who passed away in March due to complications from his diabetes. The intersection of Linden Boulevard and 192nd Street is now known as Malik "Phife Dawg" Taylor Way.
