When you hear the name 21 Savage, hard-hitting production and relentless rhymes often come to mind. But this apparently wasn't the case for French producer Stwo, who wanted to take the Atlantan rapper out of his usual confines with an unexpected rework of the Future-assisted "X."

What Stwo's made, essentially, is a version of "X" that your parents could listen to or find on an easy listening compilation album (just, you know, make sure your mom doesn't dwell on the lyrics too much). Removing the stuttering, ominous beat from the original, Stwo lightens "X" up with some seductive instrumentation from an earlier time, and surprisingly, 21 Savage's quiet, sing-song rhymes work incredibly well with Stwo's new backdrop.

21 Savage will be joining Young Thug on Thugger's HIHORSE'D tour, which kicks off tomorrow in Baltimore, Maryland and wraps up on December 18 in New York. Take a look at the full list of tour dates here.
