Wet have been pretty quiet since they released their debut album Don't You back in January, however, the Brooklyn trio just released two new tracks in time for their month-long North American tour.

The two new songs, "The Middle" and "Turn Away," have a slightly darker edge than most of the tracks on Don't You, with the band telling The FADER that the tracks were written from the perspective of 'being stuck in in-between places'. As the title would suggest "The Middle" follows this theme, with Kelly Zutrau's vocals beautifully capturing a sense of uncertain melancholy.   The band also related this sense of doubt and apprehension to the Presidential election, saying how the songs were a reflection of 'collective anxiety'.

The band start their 19-date tour tomorrow in Boston at the Royale and conclude at Webster Hall in New York on November 19. Check out the tour dates and both new songs below.
