Last year we were introduced to L.A.-based singer and songwriter SiR with his impressive single "Love You" from his debut album Seven Sundays. In the time since his last release, SiR has lent his vocals and his songwriting talents to the likes of TDE members Jay Rock and Isaiah Rashad, and a few others.
This week SiR returns with brand new music. His latest release is a short, six-track EP simply titled Her. The new release only features one guest appearance from Big K.R.I.T. on the opening track, SiR showcases his own range throughout the rest of the project.
As short as the EP may be, it feels like the perfect introduction to his sound for those who have still yet to start paying attention to this rising talent. Her finds SiR layering his heartfelt lyrics and soulful voice over hard-hitting rhythms. The result is a project that deserves to played in steady rotation.
