"More music should sound like all the classic Moby albums," Ricky Eat Acid tells us. "I don't know if this song particularly does, but it was definitely written because of those albums and me listening to them all the time. More people should be doing that for sure."

"Fucking To Songs on Radios" is one of the more accessible tracks on Ricky's new album, Talk To You Soon, which is out October 28 via Terrible Records. The album, much like Ricky's work over the past few years, is a whirlwind of moods, ideas, and emotions, delivered through vocals and multi-layered production. "...Songs on Radios" itself builds slowly, evolving from heavily effected vocals and no percussion to a section of warm, melody driven beatwork.

"Rather than just be a mess of disjointed songs, I wanted to find a way it could pull from different sources all into one thing," he explains. "Sequencing played a big part too, as it moves from more vibrant, candy-neon ~pop~ tracks towards darker, wilder territory, culminating in that fucked up ass black metal track near the end with Wreck & Reference. It's nice to write something I feel no emotional connection to whatsoever. Emotion gets in the way of art. Art is a facsimile of emotion; it brings it out and mirrors it in its audience, but doesn't actually carry any specific weight on its own."
