Gorillaz have been building the anticipation for their upcoming album with a slow and steady pace that makes the rollout feel that much more special. Last month the group joined Instagram and kicked off the account with a full timeline of their career from the beginning.
Now that the timeline has finally reached present day, Gorillaz have begun sharing new material. Earlier this week, Gorillaz shared a visual story titled "The Book of Noodle." The short clips told the story of the group's bassist, Noodle—explaining how her journey began and what happened to her. Today, they return with "The Book of Russel." In the same fashion as Noodle's story, Gorillaz give a deeper look into the life of their drummer Russel Hobbs.
