London-based producer/vocalist Bonzai (one of the best new artists of 2016) has impressed us with her ability to infuse R&B influences with wildly inventive electronic production and a raw punk-rock edge. It's a unique sound that she introduced to the world with two excellent EPs—Royah and Sleep Hungryand now she's gearing up to release a third project, Lunacy EP, on October 28.

Our second taste of the EP (following "I Did") is a winner. Perhaps her most accessible track to date, Bonzai's ear for melody shines over booming percussion that builds to an explosive climax—complete with a strangely satisfying scream and whizzing electronics. If you're looking for pop-leaning music with splashes of experimentalism and an authentic edge, this one's for you. Listen below.
