Last month, we came across a rapper named 22 Savage who looked and sounded eerily similar to 21 Savage. The rapper (who has a "Savage Mode" mixtape on the way) is a parody project by comedian-turned-rapper Mighty Mike, who explained: "I just felt like jacking him. 22 Savage. I’m really a savage out here. I’m really in the slums. I’m in the trenches."
While his imitator quickly gained buzz, racking up over a million views on his "Jumpin" video, 21 Savage remained quiet—until now. At his show on Wednesday night, he took a moment to address copycats by rapping, "Ain't no 22, ain't no 23..." in an apparent response to 22's biggest line: "This ain't 21 bitch, this 22."
