"Thug did this crazy James Brown type vocal on it. It's magnificent."

Young Thug is evolving and experimenting in front of our eyes, and it's beautiful. On No, My Name is JEFFERY, he brings new styles and deliveries to the table, from the raucous "Harambe" to the smoother "Pop Man" or squawking melodies of "RiRi."

Here's more heat from Thug, in the form of a collaboration with Felix Snow, who has been producing some of our favorite tracks recently. Check out "2 Live," "Those Nights," and "Lies" to understand the variety of music he makes, but not until you've bumped "Turn Up" twenty times.

Over a joyfully unhinged beat, Thug goes in at his yelping best, switching flows, singing and rapping, and generally reminding us that there's no one like him in the game right now. "It's a beat I sent Lyor," Felix Snow explains. "He sent it to Thug who did this crazy James Brown type vocal on it. It's magnificent."

"Turn Up" originally appeared in a video advert for Young Thug's girlfriend Jerrika's swimwear line, but here's the full audio in all its glory. Turn up!
