"This album was made for the kids figuring life out," Max Wonders explained in a note to fans before releasing his new album Hues To Blame. "Falling in love. Falling out of love. Venturing out into the world for the first time. Going to school, finishing school. This album was made for the kids that stare at the ceiling at night and wonder about what's going to happen next in their life's movie."

At 19 years old, Wonders speaks from the perspective of a young artist at a turning point. Finished with school, his focus is turned squarely on music and the unlimited possibilities that lay ahead as he shares his debut album. "I'm starting my journey right now, in front of everyone so we can all grow up together," he says. "I guess what I really mean is... This album is for the kid in all of us."

"Hues To Blame is from the naive standpoint of a young person finding their way through the world," Wonders explains. Whether you're making your way through your youth at the moment or feel like reminiscing on the bewildering, wide-eyed experience of growing up—Hues To Blame is the soundtrack.
