Last week Kid Cudi took to Twitter to share a few thoughts about people within the music industry, saying: "The fake ones won't be lasting too much longer." Though the statement felt rather general at first, it became much more personal when he said that he's always been "loyal to those who haven't been loyal to me and that ends now." Cudi's series of tweet ended with him calling out Drake and Kanye West specifically.

After Kanye caught wind of what Cudi said, it was clear that he was very hurt and angered by these statements as he went on to call Cudi out during a live show. During a stop on his Saint Pablo tour in Tampa, Florida, Kanye took a moment to touch on Cudi's comments—simply stating, "Kid Cudi, don't ever mention 'Ye name. I birthed you!" What started as a rant of anger, quickly transitioned into one of pain as he said, "You know how many people wish they could be signed to G.O.O.D. Music, get they life changed? Have that opportunity? Never forget that. I'm so hurt. I feel so disrespected."

However, just a week later it seems Kanye has had time to think over the things he said and may have had a change of heart. During a stop in Houston last night, Kanye took a moment to say: "Kid Cudi is my brother, and I hope he's doing well." He continued saying, "He's the most influential artist of the past ten years." As expected, these comments were met with roaring cheers and applause as Kanye and Cudi share many of the same fans. We can only hope that Cudi will have a change of heart as well, and this bond can mend itself soon.
