Innanet James recently closed out his summer with the release of his debut project Quebec PlaceAlthough the season has come to an end, the Maryland rapper is now ready to share the visuals for his lead single titled "Summer." Initially, it may seem a bit odd to release a video about summertime right after the summer months have come and gone, but Innanet James' message behind the video explains it all.

In the Eavvon-directed video, two different men can be seen leading practically the same life. The lead characters, Innanet James and a white male both go through similar scenarios with very different outcomes. The tragic ending depicts the clear difference between their two worlds.

The video ends with a short message from Innanet James, which reads: "We all deserve the same chance to make it home to our loved ones. Thank God I made it through summer."
