As hip-hop evolves and the debate over respecting rap music's roots picks up steam, one rapper unafraid of pushing boundaries and working with artists outside of the genre is Vince Staples. Frequently collaborating with artists like James Blake and Flume, some of Staples' best moments have come rapping over beats from electronic musicians. That trend continues on Miami DJ duo GTA's new song, "Little Bit of This."

Over relentless, hard-hitting production, Staples rattles off energetic bars about being "far removed from that gangster shit" while staying away from "that conscious shit." Watch him dodge a parking lot full of drifting cars in the video above, stream via Spotify below, and look out for GTA's debut album Good Times Ahead, due for release on October 7.
